Carpy Night with Jerry Hammond Raises £4,000

Posted by: Trakker on October 8th, 2015

Jerry Hammond’s recent slideshow A Carpy Night with Jerry Hammond at the Foxash Social Club in Lawford, Essex, raised over £4,000 for a hospice for sick kids in East Anglia.

The Online Fishing TV star entertained the audience with tales of some of his big-carp exploits, and a detailed look at his finely-tuned Zig Rig approach, whilst ticket sales, auctions and a huge prize raffle contributed to Jerry being able to make a donation of over £4,000 to the Tree House Childrens’ Hospice which works with disabled and sick children in the East Anglia Area.

Jerry commented: “The event went really well, and those who attended were treated to a great evening’s entertainment, with some lucky anglers walking away with great prizes from Trakker, MAD Baits, Lead Shed and more. I’d like to say a big thank you  to all the companies who supported the night, but most of all, thank you to all those who turned-out and dug-deep for such a worthy cause”.

Anyone who still wishes to make a donation to the charity can do so through Jerry’s JustGiving page.
