Jake commented, “To be involved with such a pedigree of anglers down at Drayton was a great experience. The area me and Dan were drawn in didn’t give us the best chance of catching as the fish were still in winter mode shoaling in the middle. However, the event wasn’t judged solely on the amount of fish caught. It was judged by how well each duo fished in their own situation. There was real high-calibre angling amongst the trialists and we were proud to part of it. Just hoping we did enough to get through. Should have packed the old sun cream. I’ve come back looking like a lobster. All worth it though!”
The Team Managers, Peter Holehouse and Ian Huntington did a fantastic job making the trials a well-run, organised event Trakker are proud to be co-sponsors of.
