Team Trakker. Matt Quibell

Matt Quibell works full-time in the Trakker offices and has a number of years experience in the angling industry, originally working in a tackle shop while he was studying. More recently he worked as a journalist on Crafty Carper, Carpworld and Carp-Trade magazines for Angling Publications Ltd.

Matt graduated from Hull University having studied BA Geography and has been fishing since the age of five. He was heavily involved in the match scene through his teens, culminating in him winning gold in the National Federation of Anglers 2001 UK Championships, before turning his attentions to the sole pursuit of carp. Matt spends as much time as possible on the bank, fishing venues all around the country and he also enjoys venturing over to France whenever possible. Matt works in product development at Trakker and relishes the challenges that his role brings. Outside fishing, Matt enjoys football and is currently learning how to cook!
