Team Trakker. Richard Farnan

Richard ‘Cash’ Farnan is the UK Sales Manager for Trakker while outside of the angling trade he’s also a professional boxing coach and corner man.

Cash’s working career has seen him being an insurance broker, when he worked for footballers Ian Wright and Les Ferdinand, through to selling IT database’s to Formula One teams and law firms in Europe. Cash has now been employed within the angling trade now for ten years, firstly working for Gardner Tackle in sales, marketing and product development. He then spent a number of years at David Hall Publishing, where he was the business development manager on Advanced Carp and thereafter on Total Carp. He’s fished since he was a kid, and he has clear memories of sitting on a tree branch hand-lining worms for perch. Cash’s fishing then progressed onto rivers and then lakes, where he hooked and banked his first carp, a small common of about a pound. From then on he was well and truly hooked on the pursuit of carp. Cash says that he’s been very fortunate to have now established a successful career out of his hobby, and that he still has the same drive and passion for it today, as he had when he was an enthusiastic teenager.
