Profile
Richie Lofthouse has been into fishing for as long as he can remember. He works for a large building company so trying to find the time to fish isn’t always easy for him.
Richie is living proof that you can consistently catch big carp even if you work full-time! He regularly leaves his house at 6am and doesn't get home until 6pm, and this is five days a week. Somehow, despite all of this, he still finds the time to fish! Richie tells us that although he does also play a bit of golf, carp fishing is his first and only love. To date Richie lists some great syndicate venues that he’s fished, in and around the Essex county, plus some other notable waters further afield. Since 2006 he has been fortunate enough to have tickets for Lakelands, Braxted, The Essex Manor, The Quarry, Charity Lakes, The North Met plus some local club lakes which hold some special carp. Richie has also fished a couple of strictly non-publicity waters which he couldn’t even tell us the name as they’re proper hush, hush! He really enjoys fishing for the biggun’s but he’s happy when anything else comes along during his pursuit of his target fish.
