Adam Reed

Team Trakker

Adam Reed’s first introduction to fishing, like many, started on rivers and small ponds with his dad at the age of about five, fishing for roach and bream, which was enough to kick-start a life-long passion. His first real introduction to carp fishing started with his uncle driving him around the South East on the back of a motorbike, fishing park lakes they shouldn’t of been after dark. This only added to the excitement of carp fishing, and catching his first double-figure carp at the age of eleven, using the lamp on the front of his uncle’s bike to show the 12lb 7oz common in all it’s glory, really put the carp at the top of list to fish for from then on. Adam was soon off doing it week in week out on his own and with friends. Since then, Adam has fished a variety of well-known waters up and down the country, and is currently fishing a couple of syndicates in the Essex area. Away from carp fishing, Adam also enjoys fishing for other species, and still spends time on small ponds and rivers with his dad where it all began. Adam is now the South East account manager for Trakker, and really believes he has found his dream job, meeting and dealing with like-minded people everyday, within a field that he loves. Adam’s other interests are keeping fit, playing golf, and watching just about any sport. Adam also loves spending time with his family, partner Laura and their dog Milo.
