Having been targeting carp for a number of years now, it’s no surprise that fishing is certainly my biggest passion along with photography which goes hand-in-hand with it. My other passion is flying, and since I’ve been studying to get my pilot license, my time spent on the bank can be very limited and so every free minute I have, I spent out on my local park ponds and channels to try and catch some fish. My sessions are generally only 3-5 hours long or short overnight sessions which makes location absolutely key to success, so being able to set up and move quickly is very important to my angling as I spend a lot of time watching the water for signs, ready to move and place my rods where I see them. I’m a firm believer that a short amount of time spent in the right location is much better than days spent in the wrong one!
