Jerry Bridger

Team Trakker

Jerry Bridger caught his first carp back in 1987 and he describes himself as being: “totally hooked ever since!” His hobby soon turned into an obsession, which eventually developed into a job within the angling trade back in 2004.

An interest in digital photography and angling journalism led Jerry into being involved with the start-up of Carp Addict magazine, a project that really set the ball rolling for his career in carping journalism. In 2006 he joined Angling Publications Ltd’s Advertising department and this role developed further into a full-time editorial manager’s position in December 2009. After nearly three very happy years being immersed in carp angling journalism editing Crafty Carper magazine, in October 2012 Jerry joined Trakker Products as Marketing Manager which progressed to him being appointed Sales & Marketing Manager in June 2014. Jerry’s actual fishing time often revolves around short-sessions on a variety of different venues, with most of his time being made-up of midweek overnighters fitted in around his hectic work and family life. Jerry’s attitude to carp fishing is: “what you might lack in time, you can make up for in effort.”
